Winter gritting Winter Gritting & Snow Clearance ServicesSupply and Apply Service GroundCare Gritting Services cater specifically for commercial premises requiring flexible arrangements. Our gritters are designed to give a more controlled application in restricted areas thus minimising damage caused by overspray of salt onto shrub and grass areas as well as potential damage to parked vehicles. How it works??? 1. We assess your site via our on-line service or a site visit.2. Following acceptance of our quotation we organise sufficient salt stocks to keep your site adequately covered.3. Our weather team monitor and record the forecast daily for your location using a number of metrological sites including the Met Office.4. When the agreed criteria has been forecast, we record the data and following your approval to attend, our gritting team is dispatched out of normal hours to apply grit salt to your site. This is usually done before any ice formation.5. Should we attend site on consecutive nights we regulate the amount of salt being dispatched to avoid over use. Throughout the winter season we constantly monitor the weather and your salt supply levels for continued maximum protection.
